"Jamie has worked alongside me during my first year as ICT lead in my school and has offered valuable support and ideas on how to embed the new Computing curriculum effectively within each year group. With a combination of creative initiatives and tried and tested strategies that he has seen and used in other schools, Jamie's scheme of work is a testament to the understanding he has of how to use ICT to truly enhance the children's learning."

About The Scheme
This Project based, cross curricular scheme of work for Computing utilises both iPad and PC software and is easy for all teachers regardless of their skill level and confidence to follow. Each of the 36 units can be easily integrated into any curriculum topic area, therefore providing purposeful and meaningful learning experiences guaranteed to enthuse and motivate all of your pupils.
Project Live covers all the objectives of the new Computing Programme of Study. Created by myself, a Computing At Schools Master Teacher, it is based on what actually works in the Computing classroom. Unlike other schemes, it is kept constantly up to date, as I also deliver the full scheme in my role as a specialist Computing teacher at a Primary school in Manchester.

How it works
The Project Live Computing curriculum is split into 36 project based units (including early years) with each unit containing;
- A brief project outline
- An in depth software or app demonstration video
- An objectives sheet (matching up the unit objectives to the relevant statements from the Computing Programme of Study)
- An assessment sheet (used to record levels based on pupils' submitted projects)
- A self assessment sheet (to support and help pupils to keep track of their progress)
- A lesson sequence (with six, detailed individual lesson plans)
- Accompanying resources
As well as this, the scheme also includes the Project Live Blog, giving you links to further resources, information regarding unit updates and suggestions for new ideas to try. As Project Live Computing Curriculum is all integrated into this website, you simply just log in on the curriculum page to gain access to everything you need!
Various versions of the scheme are available to buy, ranging from individual year group packages up to 'Project Live Full' which includes 6 iPad based units for early years.
For more information visit the curriculum page here.
* For schools who subscribe to Project Live, a free one hour staff meeting to introduce the scheme to your school is available (travel expenses will need to be included for school outside the North West UK).
