Digital Literacy projects

Multimedia focus

Pupils will create their own digital piece of work designed to enhance their creativity and writing skills. Pupil's will produce a professional looking piece of work, such as a poster, flyer or presentation, which is linked to a particular topic area or curriculum focus.

Comic book creation

Pupils will design, make and print out their own comic book linked to a curriculum focus or specific area of interest. This project can be specifically tailored to fit in with a specific literacy strand of the new curriculum or even any cross curricular topic. This project particularly appeals to boys and has always proved to enthuse even the most reluctant of writers.

eBook publishing

Pupils will design and make their own eBook which will then be available to download onto a mobile device or computer.  This particular project will give pupils the opportunity to create media rich e-books on curriculum specific topics and will enhance a range of speaking and listening skills, as well as developing pupil's writing.
